Alfred Zimmerlin(1955)

Alfred Zimmerlin is a Swiss composer, cellist and lecturer at the Hochschule für Musik in Basel. The concept of free improvisation is a focus of his teaching and performing. Zimmerlin's compositional oeuvre spans several chamber music genres, as well as music for theatre, film, and radioplay.
