Mozart-Verfilmung 1991
Wenige Jahre nach dem Erscheinen des medienwirksamen Films "Amadeus" von Miloš Forman (1984), der zahlreiche sensationsgeladene Mythen um Mozarts Leben ausschlachtete, wurde ein österreichisch-tschechischer TV-Dreiteiler produziert, der ein anderes Bild zeichnet und viele Perspektiven beleuchtet, die zuvor keine Rolle spielten. Samama Leo acted as chairman of the jury for the «4Viola» Composition Contest, which led to the submission of 86 brand new pieces for viola quartet. I am currently in the process of working those inputs (where so permitted by their authors) into the DVS Catalogue of Viola Ensemble Music.

According to the list of works for viola on wikipedia, there are a number of compositions for viola and piano by Zitterbart... He wrote a total of 13 Viola Sonatas, and several smaller pieces for the same instrumentation. Many of them are available here in manuscript form here: https://digital.library.pitt.edu/collection/fidelis-zitterbart-manuscripts. The American Viola Society also published his Sonata number 2 in G-minor (beautifully edited by David M. Bynog in 2015) and his Three Pieces.
