Kurt Meier(1950)

The oboist and editor Kurt Meier comes from a musically very active family. From the age of 12 on he studied oboe at the Zurich Conservatory with André Raoult. In addition to his musical education, Meier studied experimental physics at the University of Zurich and graduated with a diploma before devoting himself entirely to music. He completed his music studies at the State University of Music in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany with a soloist diploma with Heinz Holliger.
